Helping the Kodiaks, Supporting the Community

Making a difference

Peter Lavandier, Dawson Co-op Food Store Manager, recently helped the Kodiaks with a mega-purchase of tissues for the Oncology Department at Dawson Creek and District Hospital.

“Helping to stretch the Kodiaks’ donation to the Hospital with the very best deal we could find on Co-op Gold tissue was a small labour of love,’ said Peter. “We will always try to do our very best for those in need in our community.”

The Kodiaks shared this in their social media:

Thank you to everyone that helped make this years Face Off Against Cancer fundraiser a success. We were able to donate $8000 to the Dawson Creek and District Hospital Foundation along with $500 worth of Kleenex to help in the Oncology Unit. We wouldn’t have ben able to do this with out the help from our sponsors and amazing fans that opened their cheque books to purchase the boys jerseys. Peace Country Petroleum Sales Ltd.
