Front-end Representative
Dawson Co-op invites applications for the position of Front-End Representative to join our Cardlock team in Dawson Creek, British Columbia.
This position is responsible for completing billings, reconciliations, providing exceptional customer service, looking after the front end of the sales floor and assisting the Office Supervisor as directed.
Reporting to the Cardlock Office Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Be dependable for all scheduled shifts
- Implement start of day or end of day procedures
- Assist customers with account and fuel card inquiries
- Complete Customer billing for delivery and cardlock fuel
- Perform Petroleum reconciliations as directed by Management
- Report to and assist the Petroleum Office Supervisor
- Maintain in-store signage and shelf labels
- Maintain product inventory and restocking of coolers and shelves
- Work with suppliers for product ordering
- Maintain store appearance and cleanliness
- Perform interior housekeeping and maintenance duties
- Perform exterior housekeeping and maintenance duties
- Maintain a shelf verification schedule for dated products and counting of inventory
- Provide service, information and assistance to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet their requirements and expectations
- Maintain and keep the point of sale (“POS”) program on schedule
- Adhere to all Dawson Co-operative Union policies and procedures
- Adhere to all Dawson Co-operative Union health and safety standards per the Health and Safety manual
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12 education; preference given to candidates with relevant post-secondary education
- Demonstrated data entry skills; ability to type 40 words per minute and use a 10 key adding machine considered an asset
- Motivated self-starter
- Strong ability to manage relationship at all levels
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge with computers considered an asset
- Familiar with Microsoft office programs considered an asset
Compensation and Benefits
- Between $18.15 to $24.56 per hour, commensurate on qualifications and experience
