Junior Sales Agronomist – Rolla

Dawson Co-op invites applications for the position of Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at our Dawson Co-op Rolla Ag location located in Rolla, British Columbia.

Under the direction of the Rolla Ag Manager, the Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for acting as the primary customer support role at the service desk, ensuring a positive customer experience and coordinating relevant administrative functions in a timely and accurate manner. This position also provides administrative support for the coordination of operational and sales functions.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Come to work with a positive and professional approach and attitude
  • Provide outstanding and courteous customer service to Rolla Ag customers and clients
  • Support and lead a positive customer experience as the primary contact person for telephone and in-person inquiries, services, and support
  • Coordinate scheduling, pick-ups, deliveries, invoicing, and payments across operations, sales, and the administrative team
  • Perform daily audits of cash ups and deposits
  • Act as the primary liaison between the operations, sales, and administrative team, connecting customers to the appropriate contact when required
  • Coordinate and maintain member files, new memberships, payments, billing, pre-sales, and reorders
  • Perform data-entry related tasks to track inventory, invoices, work orders, etc.
  • Grow and maintain a working knowledge of the services and products provided to customers
  • Monthly reconciliations of invoices
  • Perform additional office administration duties, such as preparing correspondence and maintaining records and filing systems
  • Prepare relevant research, data and financial reports to support administration as required
  • Adhere to all Dawson Co-operative Union policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or another relevant field is required
  • P. Ag designation is an asset
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience with agricultural sales, agronomy, or other relevant industry
  • Ability to use software and organizational tools for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (i.e. Microsoft Programs, Tronia, etc.)
  • Ability to use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to track all sales contacts centrally
  • Self-directed and motivated with the ability to problem solve under general supervision
  • Valid Class Five driver’s license with a clean abstract is required
  • Strong ability to manage relationship at all levels

Compensation and Benefits
